The roe deer population in many parts of the Czech Republic is extremely abundant. These areas are of great natural beauty and variety, ranging from plains and hills to low mountains up to 1,000 metres above sea level. The landscape is characterised by meadows and cultivated fields, as well as mixed forests. In many areas, trophies usually do not exceed 90 CIC points. However, in some of the areas we have selected, a significant number of roe bucks with trophies of around and above 100 points are hunted each year, including some medals. The hunting season runs from mid-May to September. The mating season is from around 20 July to 10 August.
